Connecting Your Tradier Account
Tradier is designed from the ground up for developers and algorithmic trading. Because of this, generating API credentials is incredibly fast. Tradier provides both a Production Environment (for live trading) and a Sandbox Environment (for paper trading), each with its own unique access token. API access is limited to paid Tradier accounts only.
Follow the steps below to retrieve your Account Number and Access Token to link your account to our platform.

Step 1: Log in to the Tradier Dashboard
Navigate to the Tradier Web Dashboard and log in with your brokerage account credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to API Access Settings
Once logged in, click on your name or the profile icon in the top right corner of the dashboard. From the dropdown menu, select API Access. (You can also go directly to Settings > API Access).

Step 3: Locate Your Account Number
On the API Access page, you will see a list of your Tradier accounts. Note down your specific alphanumeric Account Number (e.g., VA1234567), as you will need to specify which account the platform should trade in.

Step 4: Reveal and Copy Your Access Token
Scroll down to the Production Account Access or Sandbox Account Access section, depending on whether you want to trade live or practice with paper money.
Click the Eye Icon to reveal your full token, then click the Paper Icon (Copy) to save it to your clipboard.
Security Warning: Treat your API Access Token like a password. Anyone with this token can execute trades and take actions on your account.

Step 5: Connect to Our Platform
Return to your account settings on our platform. Select your desired environment (Live or Paper), paste your Account Number and your Tradier Access Token into the respective fields, and click Connect to authorize automated trading.
